MySQL Yoast entries in wp_postmeta

    I know that some time ago the way Yoast stored metadata was changed to use table wp_yoast_indexable

    There are 3800 _yoast_*** entries remaining in my wp_postmeta table.
    Can these safely be removed without affecting my site or seo?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We would not recommend removing the?_yoast_***entries from your wp_postmeta table in the database unless you have a specific reason that requires manually editing the database. During the SEO data optimization process the plugin will remove any unnecessary entries as part of the process.
