• Hello,

Apparently my website has been blacklisted by google for having malware!!

How did such a thing get INTO my website?

In 12 years of having a boring html/frames website I never had one issue and now that I switched to wordpress… this.

    I don’t even know if it’s NEEDED… It’s location / name is:
    wp-includes/js/l10n.js

Is that a needed file? Does anyone know?

    Thanks,

    James

  • It’s generally the language internationalisation, that’s what l10n usually is, perhaps it’s been corrupted.

What you could do is download this file, download a fresh copy of the SAME VERSION of WordPress you currently have running, and compare the two files. Worst case scenario, the original may have been overwritten (this is an absolute worst case scenario). Just copy the fresh one from the wordpress zip and overwrite the file on your webserver.

Not sure how to get un-blacklisted.

    Good luck.

If they are both the same, Google may have made a mistake (I know, Google never mistakes mistake /sarcasm).
