Mysterious site loading issue…

  • Hey guys, I’m having a strange issue with my site:

    https://www.ffxivguild.com

    All of a sudden, it won’t load. While the automated server status of my hosting says its good, i’m waiting for the livechat queue.

    I may as well cover all my bases while waiting. I cleared the cache through W3, but it still worked after that, and even got messages regarding my new post.

    Currently it’s down for no apparent reason. Could it be i got disconnected while clearing cache? does that affect anything? thanks!

    Sounds like a goofed up .htaccess file or something causing the 500 server error. Technically the site is up in that it responds to a http request but then it croaks.

    Might try renaming the .htaccess file and placing a simple .html file there to see if that will display anything without causing the same error.
