• I am very sorry if my question is too elementary. I am new and I have successfully configured my blog, own-hosted.
I need to use Register Plus and I (think I have) followed the instructions.
    That is:
    1. I downloaded the zip file.
    2. I unzipped the folder and copied the directory folder into /blog/wp-content/plugin folder, in the server, as customarily.
    3. I refreshed, opened my blog/wp-admin in Mozilla. Then I checked the plugin area and I found Register Plus as “active plugin”. But I see no Settings anywhere. When I try the register page, there is the same old WordPress conventional log in page.
    4. I desactivated all other plugins, as Akismet and a couple I had installed. But still I can’t find the Settings configuration page or command.

(I’ve read a post here. Someone said “Did you click it in Widgets? I saw into Widgets but I found no widget related to Register Plus.)

Can you please help me “as for dummies” about the installation process? What did I do wrong? I am very grateful for any help you can give me.

    Best regards,

    Paula

  • I cant figure out this plugin either. Installed in Plugins. Activated user registration. Configured Plugin under Settings.

Where in the heck is it supposed to show up? Im expecting a widget I place on my web page. No widget exists.

I continue to be aggravated by poor documentation with plug-ins. Id love to support them with donations if the instructions were better.

Hi there, the register plus plugin is easy to configure under settings you’ll see register plus.Make any changes that you want, log out and check the registration page.
    Hope it helps.
    Mike.

There’s more documentation for many plugins in the WP Extend > Plugins repository. Did you know about the little tabs at the top of each plugin? Installation, Screenshots, Other Notes, etc. Plus there is usually a link to the Plugin’s webpage and the Plugin Author’s webpage.

    Example,
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/register-plus/screenshots/

Sometimes looking at the Screenshots section (like Register Plus) will really show you what you’re looking for.
