Mystique theme: TWITTER widget Issues (Mystique2.4.2, WP3.0)

OK, so there are lots of posts about the Mystique twitter widget, BUT many of the issues seems outdated- old versions of Mystique when there was no easy way to config the twitter username. That’s not for this post.

I’d like to know if people have intermittent connection problems. For me, half the time it works great, and half the time it just doesn’t show tweets or my twitter profile pic. Note: I do not get any connection errors- it just doesn’t show tweets. I mess around a bit (clear browser cache, clear other settings) with the thought it might be b/c the site hasn’t detected any new dates, or only fetches from twitter in a certain time interval. But I haven’t found the perfect fix.

Who has these problems, or knows what’s going on?
