“name” field in comments page

Hi! First post, and I’m pretty new to CSS, so this might be a silly question…
I’m tweaking my new WP install, and I can’t seem to change the color of the “name” box in the comments page, as seen here. . I’d like the name box to match the others, but it refuses to obey the CSS entry which directs the various “#commentform” variables..
Head hurting. Help, please? Thanks in advance!
