Name Host or Something Else?

I currently purchased a domain at namecheap.com and I’m going through the process of installing WordPress, but I can’t seem to get it to work. I can only think if one thing that I fully didn’t get throughout the process of installing it, and that was the name host in the wp-config document. I heard that it your ‘name host’ could be found in the MySQL DB’s in the C Panel, but I couldn’t seem to locate it. I just left it as ‘localhost’. So if anybody knows the name host for namecheap hosting or where I can find my name host that would help.

On the other hand, if ‘localhost’ is the name host that is supposed to be there, then I can’t seem to get WordPress to work. I uploaded all the WordPress files into a folder named ‘x’, but mydomainname.com/x/wp-admin/install.php isn’t working. Any help on this and further installation is appreciated (:
