• Any chance of upgrading name ur price module? If this module could ADD price inquiry to regular price instead of just replace it would be truly awesome. Like product cost 100$, and below “add to card” button there is empty form like “name your price if you think this is too high and we will contact you for negotiation”

  • HI

Yes, I thought name your price was like an opening to a negotiation but it seems if you enter a price range, should anyone enter a price within that range they automatically buy it.

Confusing for me and the customer.

Being able to use the name your price as a make offer field would be a useful thing in my opinion.

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay. As you pointed this out – this seems like quite useful feature. I’ve already started implementing it, hopefully will be ready in a couple of days. Will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

I ended up adding new “Offer Your Price” module to Booster for this. Please download the development version here – https://booster.io/dev/. You will need to uninstall the old plugin version first (don’t worry your saved settings won’t disappear).

New module is in “WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Prices & Currencies > Offer Your Price”. It’s not completely finished. First of all I’m going to add the option to add “Make an offer” button to product archives (at the moment it’s only displayed at single product page). Also there will be more styling options etc. Anyway – I would love to hear what you think – any feedback/ideas is more than welcome.

    Again, thanks for the idea.

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom

I’ve hit a snag. just installed it on my dev site and its brilliant. Exactly what’s needed, however, my site has other sellers on and I want to enable make offer globally. Is there any way to make the inquiry go to a user’s products instead of the admin.

    kind regards
    mark

    Hi,

Thanks for feedback. I’ve just made the necessary changes in dev version (https://booster.io/dev/). To send emails to products authors instead of administrator, you need to set %product_author_email% as “Email Recipient” in module’s settings. Please let me know if it works as expected.

I also added the option to add “Make an offer” button to product archives. And added some more styling etc. options. Please take a look.

    Tom

    Hi Tom

Apologies for my delayed response. I only had a brief play with the updated version before I went away and just back. I’m actually having a bit of an issue with the make offer button being unresponsive on clicks. Previously everything functioned in terms of window and fields popping up. now there is nothing, no matter which browser I use.

Love that you’ve added the extra options.

Just having a play around and it seems the make offer fields are all at the bottom of my pages, which i didn’t notice before. So the fields are there. However, if I fill them in and click submit the screen goes white and nothing happens.

I will go through some plugin deactivation to see if its a conflict.

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve made some changes – could you please try again (https://booster.io/dev/)?

Please let me know if it’s fixed. If not – maybe you can share an access to some (dev) server where I can check the issue? My email is [email protected].

    Best regards,
    Tom
