‘narchives’ Installation Error

  • I tried to install the Nicer Archives from https://weblogtoolscollection.com/archives/2004/05/23/sortable-nicer-archives-for-wordpress/ . But when I now hit the link to ../narchives.php everything I get is this Error message:
    Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘-1’ at line 1]
    SELECT DISTINCT * FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date_gmt <= ‘2004-11-29 00:37:59’ AND (post_status = “publish”) GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT -1
    I know some others had similar problems configuring WordPress (I searched Google and these boards) but none of the solutions helped in my case. Any idea what the problem could be?
