Narrow Widget Editor

    The wordpress widget editor is limited to 698 pixels wide, this is much too narrow to use with the block editor. I am looking for a plugin that will change the maximum width but it should really be fixed in the core. There is blank space on both sides of the widget stacks but the block editor won’t expand to fill it.

    So the theme controls the widget screen layout…got it.
