National Deaf Basketball Tournament

Just finished covering three day events involving 8 deaf teams from all over USA.

WordPress can handle the media coverage of basketball. I managed to post photos and scores daily. The ease of customizing the sidebar is the best feature of WordPress.

I’m proud that I was able to use the blog platform to report basektball events rather than using the boring static webpages.

The only missing feature is live score. I ended up using the javascript code from dynamicdrive.com for live scores scroller. It worked, but not the best. I need to update the presentation file every time the scores are changed.

Other than that, WP is great!
