Native gallery?

  • I’m seeing mention of a native WordPress gallery that’s been around since 2.5, but I can’t find any mention of how to use it. Where is the documentation?

    Thank you, I figured that out. I wish I could find a gallery that handled captions the way Smooth Gallery does — you make your caption part of your file name. I need just a simple grid of thumbnails and it doesn’t appear Smooth Gallery can be used just for that, so I’m hoping there’s a way to do a simple grid of thumbnails that draws its captions from the filename. I’ve got great gobs of thumbnails and eliminating all that data entry will be very helpful.
