Hi again, I have one more question on TablePress 2.0. My colleague specifically uses their browser’s right click menu for copy and paste. When editing a cell in TablePress 2.0 the right click does not show any menu at all.

Is it possible to access the native right click menu of the browser here? I am guessing not due to the way it is built but wanted to check with you. Thanks as always for the help!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

That’s something that I’m still looking into. Indeed, TablePress adds its own right-click context menu to cells. It’s however not intended that no context menu is shown while a cell is already being edited.

I hope to be able to find the cause for this soon, so that either the native context menu or the TablePress context menu can be shown in that case.

In the meantime, for copy/paste, I can only suggest to use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl/Cmd + C and Ctrl/Cmd + V.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks for the update! I hope it can return one day but understand the complications.

    Hi,

yes, it’s some weird JavaScript event handling things that are tricky here.

I hope to be able to make this work soon! ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
