  • Dear Daniel,

Thanks for getting back to us. I understand you are facing some challenges with adding the language switcher to your nav menu.

As the theme you’re using doesn’t support sub-menu items via the WordPress dashboard, it indeed limits the implementation of the language switcher directly via Appearance -> Menus.

However, there’s an alternative solution that you might find useful. TranslatePress offers a shortcode that adds the language switcher to your site. You can use the shortcode [language-switcher] to add the language switcher to any location on your site that accepts shortcodes.

To implement this, you’d need to add this shortcode directly to the theme’s code where you’d like the language switcher to appear. Since this involves editing the theme’s files, I’d recommend reaching out to the theme author or developer to help with this process, as they would have the best understanding of where and how to implement this code.

Hope this gets fixed. Feel free to keep us up-to-date with your progress.
    Kind regards,
