Nav Menu with broken links

    Hi,

    I’m new to the plugin and I’ve spent last night on associating the different pages to the different languages. I’ve now noticed that in the menus ( french or english ) the links dont work.. It point back to the home page.

    Before the links in my menu were simple, but since I’ve activated Polylang the links show ?page_id=1331 in front of the pages name.

    See exemple below:
    New link in menu: https://fritz.x10.mx/wp3/?page_id=1331/nouvelles/
    Previous link in menu: https://fritz.x10.mx/wp3/nouvelles/

    Some links arent written in same format in the new english menu https://fritz.x10.mx/wp3/?page_id=656 and they seem to work.

    Also after looking at the different menu items, some of them have the same page id but the folder changes.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    I’ve solved my issue.

    These are the steps that i’ve taken:
    Went on permalinks, it was on “Default” so I changed it to “Post names”.
    Then new options appeared in the PolyLang settings page/ URL Modifications
    then set the different options to “The language is set from content”; Hide URL language information for default language”; “Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks” and check “The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id”.

    After that all my menu item links were back to normal and functionnal.
