    Hello,

I need to make this navbar plugin 100% accessible to the handicap. I am having issues making your navbar compliant. Is there code/javascript I can input to make this keyboard navigational? I am having issues tabbing through the dropdowns and pressing the left and right keys to go back. Please help, I do no want to replace your plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there,

What do you mean specifically? You can tab through the menu items and trigger the dropdowns by hitting enter when they are selected.

I’m not sure what you mean about hitting the left and right keys though, what do you want to do with those? I’m not aware of those being a standard in accessibility.

    Please advise

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the respond, the dropdowns to the navbar are not triggering or dropping down when selected/focused. If you look at the bottom left when tabbing through the page you can see the urls of the subpage, but the dropdown does not appear. I can’t change triggers unless its pro? Any freeway around this? Please see my navbar,

    Thank you,

    Hey there,

The only way I can think of making this work is by turning on the Expand Sub Menus on Parent Item Click, that should make hitting enter on the item expand the sub-menu. Of course the trade-off is that you won’t be able to click the link itself.

I’m not sure how you could trigger the arrow using tabbing as it will just get skipped as you say.

    Peter
