• Hi,

    I have just adapted the nav bar on my site from a long list of titles to a drop down menu which simplifies the initial options. To do this I have followed advice here to create a new menu item that links to ‘#’ and used this as a parent for all the sub-menu items. The menu is very simple and works, however, when I hover over the menu the list shows, and when I mouse down to use the menu, all the options collapse away again. Have tested with FF and IE under Win7, is there a simple way to make the menu ‘stick’ open so users can click it?

  • Hello Jonny,

    You could simply reduce the value of your ‘top’ rule like this:

    #access ul li ul {
         top: 48px;
    }

    to keep it intact with the parent menu. ??

    Let me know if that helps!

    Cheers!
    Calvin
