Navigation and White Space Issues
-
Hi,
I have just discovered ASE through a theme developer and am thrilled at the possibilities for displaying content. I am using the tool to display articles I have previously written online. I am teaching myself how to use the plug-in, but have encountered couple big issues so far.
I love the Chapter component navigation (which shows up in the bottom left of a viewer’s browser) and the Timeline dots (which show up along the right margin) but can’t figure out how to delete the titles that are inserted into the text (“2007” appears in my article even when I haven’t put anything in for a title). Because I’m trying to display articles, not a book, I often need navigation points for long stretches of text that do not have chapter titles. How can I fix this?
Also, I have noticed there is way too much white space showing up after the components I’ve inserted (even after I delete the single   tag in the code) and I was wondering how I can control this? If there isn’t much you can do please tell me some best practices to get a handle on this.
Thanks!
-Drew
