    Excuse me. When I said [nggallery id=xxx] I meant [slideshow id=xx]

    @casidios – You appear to be using the “flash” Slideshow which unfortunately does not have any options to increase the width of the navigation bar … it is currently relative to the slideshow width but does have other limits as well.

    In case i would use the non flash slideshow, could I still use the navigation bar? because I can’t find the option to enable the navigation bar in the non flash version.

    @casidios – There is no navigation bar in the non-flash version of the NextGEN Gallery slideshow … it is one of the few reasons we still include the flash version of the slideshow with the plugin at this time.

    You might consider a different display such as the ImageBrowser with its caption template, it will not automatically change images but will provide navigation and description (caption) text for each image.
