• I’m in Gutenberg 2022. When I add a navigation block, it arbitrarily selects a classic menu – I’m not provided the option to select one (or none) nor can I change it. Before I can manually add my own links, I have to manually delete the ones it selected for me. Very frustrating.

I recently viewed a detailed and helpful video all about using the Navigation block that might help: https://wordpress.tv/2022/12/07/using-the-navigation-block-2/

Thank you for responding. The issue I’m having is that my navigation block is not working as it shows in this video, nor in all of the ways that it has worked in the past. It’s supposed to provide a dropdown to to select whatever menu classic I want to choose. Mine doesn’t do this. When I select the navigation block, it doesn’t provide the option to create a custom menu, nor select an existing classic menu, It arbitrarily selects one of my classic menus, and I have to manually delete each link so I can replace it with a new one – I have no option to select a different classic menu.
