Navigation Drop Down is Delayed and Disappears When Trying to Click Sub Link

When I hover over the navigation and the drop down appears, when I go to move my cursor over a subcategory page, the drop down disappears. I have to wait about 2 seconds before I can move my cursor off of the navigation tab to the subcategory for it to work.

Please help as this creates a very poor user experience.
