NAVT-ERR:03 – xml request failed.

Try making a simple change (rearrange something) and click the apply button. Leave the NAVT List window (go to another area of WordPress) and then return to see if the change you made was actually applied.

I’m finding that on some systems, JQuery sometimes reports encountering an error even though the transaction between the browser and server took place successfully.

i’ve installed it on a tryout-php-server (beta-project of a free web hoster for testing purposes)… maybe this has something to do with it.

what could be possible reasons for this error?

I haven’t had an opportunity to play with a system where the error occurs. The error message is put on the screen by the plugin when jQuery detects that the request has failed. I have seen the request falsely reported as having failed because the changes were applied.

The is an open bug against the problem described above: https://dev.jquery.com/ticket/1450

IE may not be the only browser that reports the code to jQuery which in-turn reports it as an error.

I had the same problem when i used a german umlaut (ü,?,?) in one of my Titles. Maybe you should try to rename it? Not satisfying but a workaround for the moment.

i thought that my french name rené could have been the problem, but is wasn’t.
