NBSP hard space and RM settings

    Hi
    I’m using NBSP hard space in my entire site where is necessary, for eg. in H1 tag at the top of my site. I have the same phrase in this H1 tag, site title, description and key phrase filed, but Rank Math getting error and says that this key phrase is not in SEO title, desc or in first 10% of content. I notice the reason is NBSP hard space, because in H1 field (ACF field) I have this phase typed with NBSP. Is this bug or should I do it in some special way?

    Thank you for your message.

    The Rank Math plugin looks for an exact match in the content.

    The content must have space in between the words that is how Rank Math separates the words and compare them with the Focus Keyword.

    For example, H1 in hero section is:

    Specjalistyczny gabinet stomatologiczny dla dzieci i doros?ych w ?odzi

    and this is what is typed in ACF field. When I remove   from field it’s ok, but after saving the page   is added automatically by plugin, so then Rank Math hints are red.

    Rank Math is not converting a space to  . Maybe some ACF settings are escaping the content.

    You will have to check why the fields are getting escaped in the backend.

    The problem is: when plugin generated nbsp space in ACF field (after page update), RankMath treats nbsp as a separate word and doesn’t recognise it as a html hard space in title.

    Ah. Thanks for more information.

    Sorry to disappoint but at this time the plugin works differently.

    At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

    Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.
