• If I manually enter   the text area of a page post, it disappears after saving the page post.

    I need to have two spaces at the end of each sentence (“.?!)
    If the code  ? is removed when I save the post then I cannot use it in another site. I will need to reenter all of the space code in a very large document.

    I consider this to be a bug. HTML should be retained in the text area.

  • It’s important to note that the Text view of the editor is explicitly not an HTML editor.

    That said, if you just need double spaces between sentences, you should just be able to hit space twice and it will be preserved.

    Jacob, thank you for your quick reply. If I need to copy the text area and paste it into another website, the double spaces is not preserved.
