• I’ve only been waiting over 2 hours for Woocommerce to process a digital order. I still have not:

    – Received an order confirmation email;
    – Received a receipt;
    – Received a link to download the digital product.

    I don’t know what Woocommerce has been doing for the last 2 hours but it is not working.

    I’ll go back to my Ecwid product … at least it works.

    This sounds like an issue with site email. It is always worth using a transactional email provider for WooCommerce stores.

    Thank you for the page reference.

    I’ve tried, again, without one of the outside email service providers and have even more problems:

    1. Right now, I have the PayPal gateway as the only gateway set-up but after applying a 100% discount (I’m trying to test the entire process), and “adding to cart”, I select pay with PayPal and get the following error: “PayPal error (10002): An error (10002) occurred while processing your PayPal payment. Please contact the store owner for assistance.”

    I’ve rechecked the PayPal interface and believe I have it correctly set up.

    2. If I select “Checkout” and apply the discount coupon, then there is no PayPal option and the I can only select “Place Order” without entering any payment information. I then receive on screen a “Thank you. Your order has been received” message with order details.

    No email confirmation of the order.
    As the customer, no email receipt.
    As the customer, no link to download the product.
    As the customer, no request for credit card information.
    As the customer, an error message relating to PayPal.

    I can understand that the email issue may be solved by using a third-party email provider but the PayPal issue and no fields to enter payment information is quite troubling.

    Thanks, in advance, for your feedback and help.
