Necessary Cookie list does not display

    I have used the free version of the plugin for ages. Love it.
    Recently migrated to the newer version to add all the cookie categories.
    I have scanned my site – and I have my list of cookies and all looks fine.
    HOWEVER – when you open the Cookie Settings – the Necessary cookies are not displayed in the list, but all other categories displayed the relevant lists.

    I created a staging site and changed the theme to Hello – Necessary cookies then displayed correctly. I swapped back to my normal theme (Neve) and Necessary cookies were now displaying.
    BUT I lost some, but not all, of my Neve theme settings so I am reluctant to do this on my Live site as I now can’t remember everything that I have changed ??

    Any suggestions how to get this to work without having to swap theme and spend hours working out how to get the theme setting back to what they should be?

    I have tried on a second website to replicate getting necessary cookies to display.
    I now can’t get necessary cookies to display at all – even activating new themes etc etc

    Please – I need help with this.

    Hi @rodagolf,

    Kindly go to GDPR Cookie settings > Cookie category > necessary category > click edit and give the below shortcode in the description section.

    [cookie_audit category=”necessary” style=”winter” columns=”cookie,duration,description”]

    This will add a cookie table to the necessary category in the frontend.

    In the above shortcode “necessary” is the slug name for the necessary category. Please give the appropriate slug name which is given on your site. Also please ensure that necessary cookies are listed on your site.
