need 2 different wp.com accounts for 2 different jetpack site activations?

    I am working on a temp (non-live) site with different URL than my current live selfhosted wp site on another host-server with the intent to transfer content only from the current live site to the temp site then initiate a domain URL redirect from the current site to it when ready.
    I have jetpack and a wp.com account on my current live site. Can I use that wp.com account to set up a new installation of jetpack on my temp site or do I need to create a wp.com related to the temp site specifically?

    Hi there!

    If the domain on the temporary site is different from the live one, you should be able to connect that site to the same WordPress.com account. These will be treated by Jetpack as two independent sites, each with its unique ID.
