    How can I get a previous post of mine deleted that has personal information in a log file?

    @moderator: The post in question contains a transaction log with innocent people’s (possibly customers’) personal data, including: full names, email addresses, billing addresses, and even phone numbers. 26 of these.

    Perhaps this should be a valid exception?

    @gappiah Thank you for double checking this and pushing it back to the @moderator . Yes there is a PayPal log that contains sensitive customer billing details and I have an angry customer that is requesting their personal contact info be wiped from here. This puts WordPress in legal jeopardy if they don’t take this down after I have requested to have it removed. Thank you!

    No, it does not and nor is that a reason to do that. Making implied threats to an opensource, 100% staffed by volunteers community project is not cool.

    What is valid is that the paypal log may have has some information that, really, should not have been posted in the first place. That log was removed from the post. The rest is innocuous and not any security threat at all.

    Next time please realize that this is not a private board. The liability would be on the one who released in the post.

    I’m closing this topic to new replies now as this has been dealt with.
