Need a loading page

  • When people type in my site URL, I’d like to display a page that says, “The site is loading, thanks for you patience.” with an advertisement underneath that text. Then, I guess with javascript, have the page redirect after 3 seconds to my blog’s homepage.

    I’ve already tried creating a index.html page that redirects to index.php, but that hasn’t worked.

    Any ideas on this one?
