Need a managed solution for 1000 users

  • Hello,
    So my clients wish is to have an area on their wordpress site where users can create a login to simply get them to a private location where resources such as pdf, ppt, and docs will be available to only registered users. We are not looking to create a Facebook like community but just a secured location that only registered users can visit.

    They estimate their users being 1000+ from the get go.

    I am looking for a third party solution that would manage the users and provide support to them if and when necessary. My concern is that this group only has one web person and will not be able to manage a system to support 1000+ users.

    Does anyone know a good solution for this scenario?
