Need a plugin to flag article as needing review after a certain time.

  • We’re setting up a site that hosts knowledge base and support information.

    We’d like our authors to be notified after a set amount of time that their post needs reviewing to make sure it’s still up to date and accurate.

    Something really simple that lets the site admin choose a time period (1 year for example) and after 1 year the author of the article is emailed to let them know it needs reviewing.

    Perhaps the ability to display the date that the post was last reviewed and when it’ll be reviewed next? Similar to the way it’s done on this NHS site: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/Flu/Pages/Introduction.aspx

    Does anyone know of something that’ll do this? I’ve seen plugins that’ll change the title of a post after a certain date, or remove a post after a certain date but that’s not what I’m after. The content can stay public, just the author needs to be notified!
