Need a strategy for changing URL and content

  • My current About page is more about professional successes and doesn’t say much about me as a person.

    I would like to re-do an About page but move the current one to a sub page of the new About page.

    What are some ideas for strategy so that the URLs don’t get messed up?
    – One way would be to just cut the existing content/HTML and paste it to a brand new page.

    Are there any better ideas?

  • You could use a plugin called “pretty links” and do a redirect. make a new page put in your new content in there then use pretty links to redirect the pages as required.
