Need Adquate Hosting…

Hi @pushmusicpro, thanks for posting this, definitely helpful! And yeah, it’s optimal to use VPS or dedicated with this though it’s definitely possible to use with shared hosting, for smaller chats (I’ve used it for that in times past).

Since the plugin does take some server resources, it’s best to use in a better server setting.

Really appreciate your thoughts on this, could I ask if there’s something we could do to improve the plugin itself? I see you rated it rather low and I’d love to see if there’s some way we could address your concerns with it! ??

The only thing that I can see that is in excess is the chat page… I would concentrate on the chat bar because it can be seen across the website… I am not currently using the plugin, but I can say that your team at WPMU Dev is awesome… Keep up the the good work..

P.S. People shouldn’t really complain about free plugins. It really doesn’t make any since. We are going to beta-testing our website in a couple months and I am sure there will be complaints about this and that, but that is what testing is about… LOL

I am in the process of developing this website and I will definitely be using your chat in my beta test… I will let you know so you can see the functionality of the chat in a live environment. You and your team do great work and I will also using your paid services for some of the add-on services that we will be offering music artist, producers, and record labels.

Ok, I just tested the chat plugin and it works right out of the box. The only issue I can see that it is not responsive in the free version, but it does work well without any programming integration. The recent test was based on a WordPress 4.1.1 installation. Great Job!

We should be transitioning from a development environment to a live beta test launch in about 2 weeks… We are going to use your chat plugin I like the over all functionality of the plugin and have the paid version… Our site is very large… We will be testing it with about 1,000 users on the site initially so I will keep you updated…
