need assistance with header bar

    Hi,

    I am hoping someone can help me out here.

    I am trying to extend the header and footer bar “out of the margins” without messing up the margins,

    I have got everything centered with the margins and made the background white (invisible)

    If i remove the margins, the header blue and the footer blue extend right through the page (not where the margin ends) but the rest stays centered.

    I am basically trying to obtain the look of https://77recipes.com, where the header bar and footer bar color extend to each end of the page, while the margins stay centered.

    Does anyone know how to do this with the magazine MH lite theme?

    thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

    What you could do is use one of the available free child themes for MH Magazine lite (for example MH FoodMagazine). That’s also the theme which the site you’re referring to is using.

    As an alternative you could have a look at the premium version of MH Magazine, which has an option included to switch to a wide layout, amongst various other additional features, options and custom widgets to configure your website.
