Need basic css help with navigation

  • Hello everyone,

    This should be a pretty easy question to answer. I need to add a few more pages to my website torringtoneyecare dot com, but when I add additional pages to the navigation bar on the top right, it runs the navigation menu into the logo on the top left.

    So my question is how can I restrict the area for the navigation to just the area right of my logo?

  • Hi Elcochino,

    You will need to modify your styles.css file inside your theme, which can be found in wp-content/themes/tec

    In that file, you will find the declaration for #nav ul li on line 251. It contains margin: 0 11px;

    The 11px is what controls the spacing between the tabs in the navigation. Reduce it to about 3px and it’ll show up fine.
