  • Just create a folder with a style.css file. add this in the file:

    /*
    Theme Name: Virtue – Child
    Theme URI: https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/
    Description: Child theme for Virtue.
    Author: Kadence Themes
    Author URI: https://www.kadencethemes.com/
    Template: virtue
    Version: 1.0.0
    */

    Thanks for reply

    I am little confused. I copied style.css file into new folder and opened it into code editor and found below mentioned code.

    # Now question is that should I add code provided by you below this code or overwrite it?

    Check out his Codex link. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_Themes
    I would suggest looking at the resource section in the Codex page.

    Hi sam01389,

    To clarify, the style.css file you create in your child theme folder should be a new, empty style sheet. You then edit that stylesheet and add the code Kadence Themes provided.

    Hope this helps!
