in the Wordfence Web Application Firewall; can someone help clarify this note:

NOTE: If you have separate WordPress installations with Wordfence installed within a subdirectory of this site, it is recommended that you perform the Firewall installation procedure on those sites before this one. ( I copy n paste)

The last sentence, because I did install WordPress in a subdirectory, what Firewall do I need to perform before click on the “Continue” button?

    Thanks.

  • Do you have more than one installation of WordPress? If you have only one instance of WP, in a subdirectory of your site, then just hit continue and do the setup.

This refers to sites, like my own, that have subdomain/sites, and both my site, and the subdomains have WordPress installed.

It will help explain it better and do a better job of guiding you through it. It

Thank you so much, Sue and Mark, for the clarification. Yes, I have no subdomain, just one installation of WordPress in a subdirectory.
