Need details about moderation

I’d like to know what the message moderation is like from the point of view of a list administrator, but it seems there is no information about this available unless we actually pay for the plugin.
I’d like to know whether or not it will work for my users beforehand. Can you please detail exactly what steps a moderator would take to approve or reject a message? Are they notified of new messages by email? Are there links in that email notification to approve/reject in one click? Or does this require the moderator to go to our WordPress site and approve/reject from there?
These are just some of the questions I’d have. It’s not enough simply to know that something called “moderation” is a feature of the premium plugin.
