Need Entry-Level Help: WP and Host

    I currently have a site https://www.coachoftheairwaves.com hosted at GoDaddy. I have redirected my nameservers to BlueHost, and am awaiting the transfer over to BH to be finalized. UPDATE: Just noticed it looks like the transfer has taken place as all the images and so on from the old site are gone…which is fine….but why is there a difference now between https://www.coachoftheairwaves.com and what BH has set me up as – https://coachoftheairwaves.com??? What happened to the www part of the URL???

    I will not be using any part of the current site (design or content), opting instead to go with a 100% WP-based blogsite. I will not be uploading any of the files associated with the old site….just going to start fresh, building from the ground up with WP. (or do I at least need to upload the old index.html file in order to have a starting point???)

    I used Fantastico to install WP at BH. I also uploaded the WP template I want to use. With all the plug-ins available, running a WP-based site will be perfect for our needs.

    It is at this point that I become lost……

    When my transfer is finalized, where do I go to start re-creating my site? What do I click on? Did Fantastico do all the dirty-work of installing WP at Blue Host so I can use it right away? The blurb for BlueHost found at WP.org seems to indicate that the upload and installation of everything needed to begin working with WP is done for me……is that accurate?

    Can someone please help me understand, once my transfer is done, exactly what to do in this situation? Where to go? What do I click on? Where do I find the key that will simply let me begin to re-build this site using WP? I thought the Control Panel would be the place to start, but apparently not with WP.

    Anyone willing to help out, I appreciate it. Obviously I’m at the base of the learning curve here, but I will need to get the re-designed WP-based site up and running ASAP…..once I can get into WP to begin building the index.html page, I’ll be fine….it’s just not knowing HOW to get to that point that’s killing me……and unfortunately I won’t fully understand the verbiage unless it’s base level……I’m so ashamed!!! ??

    A basic blog-page is in place now at my url…..quite simply, where the heck do I go now to work on it???

    Nope. Just install WordPress – which you have.

    Me too – I don’t understand what you’re asking from here on out. I *think* you’re saying you don’t know how to get to the admin panel of your site. You have two options:

    1) in the “Meta” section in the sidebar, there’s a “Login” link. Click it. Log in.

    2) https://coachoftheairwaves.com/wp-admin there’s where you log in.
