Need full sized featured image but only thumbnails are imported

Autopost “Maximum width size of images” is set to un-restricted.
Setting “Select how to use the image” is set to Featured Image Only but also tried as Featured Image and Excerpt.
Using the images in a slider so I really need the full sized ones.
Made sure the remote site only has the full sized image in og:image tags.
Added full sized image to RSS feed output on remote site.
Went over the plug in code references to word featured but can’t find where they are fetched. Only reference to cURL is not it so I am stumped.
Does anyone have advice on this?
