  • Hello @admingrosir

    I trust you’re doing well!

You may try using Asset Optimization in Hummingbird to improve the performance of your site.

First, check if your theme has optimization options. Enable them all, as theme developers know best which assist needs to be optimized and how.

Ince the above is done, go to Asset Optimization, and run the scan for Assets. Please see this screenshot:
    https://take.ms/5lI9H

Enable Advanced mode as shown here:
    https://monosnap.com/file/fSbiG3d8jjRptsWPVO7OHNzLiYx5Tw

In Advanced mode please compress and combine every asset, the Compress and Combine options are shown in this scresnhot
    https://take.ms/sIrOg

This should complete the above-made request. Please make sure to apply these options one file at a time. After saving changes view the front end pages, twice to make sure that all is loading well. If something will look broken, this means the asset can’t be optimized in a certain way, unselect the last enabled option and continue to the next asset.

For further optimization, you may move to footer everything, except jquery, jquery-migrate and core theme js assets. Same way as above, move assets to the footer one by one and unselect the option if something is broken.

Try to Defer scripts at the end as well. Please see an attached screenshot with these options:

For more information please see our Performance Optimization Guide.

    Have a good day!

    Cheers,
    Nastia

please help, there are a few icon buttons on the content so it’s black with no shape. one example is the WhatsApp icon

    Hello @admingrosir

    I trust you’re doing well!

Please visit your site with this URI ?avoid-minify=true. For example:
    yourdomain.com/?avoid-minify=true

Please see if the icons will be shown. If yes, some optimization options that are enabled are affecting these icons. Try unselecting options on the theme’s CSS files and see if the icons will be back to find which option should not be optimized in any way.

Or if these icons are coming from a plugin, locate this plugin from filter options as shown in the screenshot and unselected enabled options in Asset Optimization:

Have a good day and take care!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
