Problem with my domain

  • Hi, Im setting up a website, I just bought cheap hosting and domain name.

    I thought after I bought the domain and hosting is ready to go live.

    What should I do to make my website go live and view some tutorials about it, and I think Im doing it okay.

    I want my site to be on WordPress. But when I tried all the tutorials still not working. What should I do??

  • It looks to me like your DNS isn’t resolved to your host yet. In layman’s terms, after you buy your domain name and set it up, (assuming you did so correctly), it still take a few hours for the internet to update. If you think it’s been too long, you can contact your hosts.

    Your domain name has not been (properly) registered. It is still available for registration for anyone.

    Check with the place where you bought the domain name.

    Senff is correct, you may have purchased hosting and typed your domain in while setting up the hosting but you will need to buy the domain and contact your hosting provider for the proper information to link your domain to the hosting.
