need help creating a reference website

hello

I am still at point 1 of the website, aka just installed wordpress

I would like to create a reference website but I am not sure how to organize and cross reference things

for example I want information to be listed:
– by a person’s profile (his language, country, social media accounts, field of experties/topics, etc.)
– by country list (language(s) and people and organizations)
– social media list, (twitter, YT, etc.)
– language (english, french, german, etc.)
you get the idea, same for topic and few other things

eg. 1
if user looks up person X, profile lists:
social media accounts associated
his country
language
and field

eg 2
if person chooses youtube they get lists/options of
topics
personalities
languages

I really don’t know the best way to go about linking or cross referencing all the information, tags don’t seem like a viable solution, do I use categories? a plugin? or something else?
type of content would be bit different for each type (profile, language, social media) as well, would one thing fit all?
