Need Help creating Menu

I can’t figure out how to add a sub menu to my existing menu. jeffreybuskey.com
My Menu labeled Blog has two sub-menu. I want both items to be listed as 2 options — blog and blog resources. I know how to create a menu and sub menu but I don’t know how to list both items as a choice. If I arrange my menu as [Blog] then only sub-menu appears — blog resources. I would like a user to have the option of visibly seeing both items as a sub-menu? Right now if you hover over Blog, Blog Resources appears, but not the blog post page unless you select Blog.

I think its done through a custom link — something with the # symbols.
