We use Woo Subscriptions and, therefore, have enabled saved payments in the Stripe plugin. This adds a bit of text under the credit card form:

By providing your card information, you allow {company name} to charge your card for future payments in accordance with their terms.

There doesn’t appear to be any way to edit this text, and it pulls the company name from Stripe, which isn’t always the correct company name to show to customers (e.g. if you’re using a DBA for your store and Stripe uses the parent company name, it confuses customers).

    Suggestions?

    Hi @sc456a,

    Thank you for reaching out.

For reference, this particular forum is meant for general support with the core functionality of Stripe Payment Gateway.

As WooCommerce Subscriptions is a premium extension, it’s best to contact us at Woo.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

The text I’m referencing appears to be controlled by the Stripe plug-in. Are you saying it isn’t?

    Hey @sc456a ,

You’re correct! However, since this is linked to subscription products and not the standard products baked into WooCommerce core, you’ll need to reach out internally for further help with this.

I’m almost certain that this specific text can’t be modified but there’s no harm in trying ??. Can you try using a string translation plugin, like Loco Translate, and see if you’re able to locate that string? It allows you to replace text with a new string with your preferred text.

Please give it a try and see if it does the trick. If not, please can you reach out via Woo.com > My Account > Support so that one of our Happiness Engineers can dig a bit deeper into this.

    Cheers
