• Hi, I have a number of questions regarding a theme I downloaded. If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

    Here is the link: https://buzzfx.ca/blog/

    1) How do I remove the “Blogroll” and the links to WordPress on the right panel so my visitors don’t see them?

    2) How do I Change the date on the Posts? The current date is wrong.

    3) How do I Remove the question mark (image tag) at the very bottom of the blog page?

    4) How do I Create a new menu item that says: “Website” so my blog readers can visit my website?

  • 1) How do I remove the “Blogroll” and the links to WordPress on the right panel so my visitors don’t see them?

Go to Appearance >> Widgets to reorder elements in your sidebar.

    2) How do I Change the date on the Posts? The current date is wrong.

Settings >> General to change dates, etc.

    3) How do I Remove the question mark (image tag) at the very bottom of the blog page?

I don’t see a question mark. Must be fixed.

    4) How do I Create a new menu item that says: “Website” so my blog readers can visit my website?

Kind of confused about this one. Do you have a web site separate from your blog?

Yes, I have a webpage and I want to add a button on my “Blog” page that goes to my website’s homepage. Any ideas how I would create this?

Paintguy, I think I know what your trying to do. I have one like this here: https://www.glassetchingsecrets.com/blog Basically I changed the link code in the Editor of my header.php templete.

    1. Go to Appearences
    2. GO to Editor to edit your current theme
    3. Click on the Header templete (header.php) on the right. Thats were mine was at least.
    4. Then look for the word Home in the code and change it to the URL you want.
    5. Save at the bottom.

I hope that helps, thats how I did it, but if anyone has any differnt way to do it, let me know.

I would look into one of the redirect plugins like Custom Field Redirect, Quick Page/Post Redirect or Simple 301 Redirects

gestroud, what I did on my blog, is this incorrect coding at all?

By the way, thanks for letting me know about these pluggins.
