    When you go to Settings->JSJ Gallery Slideshow there is a “fit” setting. Enable that.

    Then, depending on wether you want all your images to have the same height or the same width, set one of those to a specific height or width. It should be a number (600) that will later be converted into pixels 600px.

    Let me know if that works!

    Yes, it works! I set 600px height and 450 width. Thank you very much for your support!

    Excellent!

    Hello, love the plugin! But I’m facing some problems with it, hopefully you can help:

    At first, I had the same issue where pictures were too big. When I change the width and height to a fixed value, the images themselves don’t change size – just the size of the slideshow, so the pictures are skewed out of proportion. Furthermore, many of my pictures vary quite a bit in size, so I would need the slideshow to adjust dynamically with each picture. Is there a way to resize the slideshow and/or pictures (without manually resizing pictures myself)? My website is .

    Sorry if that’s confusing! Thanks again!

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

    The plugin should calculate the size of your images automatically if you’ve set a width and a height. Can you try to send a url to your site? It didn’t go through. I think this is a one-off kind of thing, so i would probably need to see how it’s working.

    I would try reverting to the default settings and seeing if that works.

    Different image size (no matter how different) should not be a problem, but maybe I’m wrong.

    Let me know

    Hi Jorge,

    Sorry about that – my website is theoliveabroad.com. Go to Photos – Caribbean – Dominican Republic to see the distortion. I’ve set a height of 500 px and a width of 700 px – some pictures look fine, but others are stretched, and I don’t see any size adjustment (some pictures are cut off).

    I tried resetting to default but the original issue – that pictures were too big – occurred.

    Thanks for all your help! Happy holidays!

    I’m sorry, but I can’t find a gallery in any of those pages. Can you send a specific url and make sure 1. the plugin is activated and 2. there’s a gallery in that page.

    Thanks

    The specific URL is (https://theoliveabroad.com/caribbean/dominican-republic/). The plugin is activated and I can see the gallery on my browser (Chrome). Please let me know if you have further issues viewing it.

    Thank you!

    Can you try:

    1. Reverting to the default settings

    2. Setting the height (only the height) to 500

    Let me know if that works

    Unfortunately, I still come across the same problem. Pictures are stretched to fit the width of the entire screen. I did as you said and resetted everything to default and changed the height to 500. You can see what it looks like here: .

    I’m sorry, I wrote height and I meant width. Try that.

    If that doesn’t work. Go into your CSS and add this:

    .gallery_container_jsjss .gallery img {
    width: auto !important;
    }

    that’s not an optimal solution but it might work.

    Oh, and revert to the default again, to make sure the height is in auto.

    Unfortunately, neither of those solutions work. If I change width instead of height, pictures again become too long and I have to scroll down to see the entire image. I then reset everything to default and input the code you gave me at the end of the CSS file but nothing changed. =(

    Hi JORGE!

    I(ve got the same pb, because you need to resize all the images you upload if you want to use you plug-in, if not it will show them in full size, which is much larger than the average computr screen.

    If we choose the “static” size, ie setting for instance H=450; W=600, it’s coll but ONLY for horizontal pictures. So it would be useful to have a dynamic sizing…

    I’m not a developer, so please could you tell us WHERE EXACTLY (in the CODE), to copy/paste the following lines:

    .gallery_container_jsjss .gallery img {
    width: auto !important;
    }

    I’ve tried to paste in the code nearly by feeling, but nothing happened.

    Thanls for your help!
