need help getting rid of white space on sidebar menu

hi, im not really much of a coder and need help getting rid of the white spaces found on my site in both the menu and sidebar

heres the text code for the 3 pics i have in the sidebar, i tried making the pictures bigger to get rid of white but doesnt work

i think lowering the margins/padding and stuff might also help but i just cant find the right code to do it
