Need help in changing theme colors

    My name IO Mark and I just installed WP 1.5.

    I have been trying to figure out how to change the background and text color of my current Default theme for the past two days witout success. All I want to do is to get white text on a black backgound.

    Please, please help. How can I do this?

    Get another theme that is black:

    Your background is an image.
    https://mark.candleshoreblog.com/wp-content/themes/marktheme/images/kubrickbg.jpg
    If you are new and don’t know enough html and CSS, please forget the default theme.

    I found a theme that I liked at themes.wordpress.net but I do not know how to download it. There is no download button. Please help.

    You click a thumbnail and will get a bigger image. On that page there is a link to the author’s site (where usually you can find a dowload).
    Clicking further on the image > it will show you the theme “in action”… and at the top, between the thumbnails and the theme itself you should see some buttons: one of them is download.
