Need help in getting started

    Hi,

    I have an existing website hosted at GoDaddy, but I’ve grown so frustrated with them that i decided to come here and set it up. This is my first try at WordPress and I’m finding it to be a little more daunting than I thought it would be.

    I signed up for hosting at DreamHost then came here and started following the setup instructions but have found myself at a standstill because I’m not sure where to go. I downloaded the WP software to my PC, I have a database at DH with a MySQL user. I think I’m at the point where I need to upload the wp-config.php file, I edited the file in Notepad++, but step 5 of the 5-minute Install has me stumped. I’m just not sure exactly how to go about doing it and I’m hoping someone here can help me with it.
